Christmas is just around the corner and it is in the back of my mind that we must start to look for an Xmas tree.
We collect and decorate our tree in the second week of December, but being hot down here in Australia the tree could look a bit sick by the time Xmas Day comes around. It is becoming popular to have plastic trees, but there is nothing like the smell of a freshly cut pine tree.
My grandmother taught me that to keep your tree looking greener and healthier for longer, all you need to do is add a couple of dissolvable Aspirin to the water the tree stands in. Apparently the aspirin keeps the water flowing up to the leaves for longer, thus keeping your tree green!
I hope you all have a merry green Christmas tree!
